LANIC is pleased to announce the release of an expanded and improved
version of the Latin American Periodicals Tables of Contents (LAPTOC)
database. Hosted on LANIC since 1997, LAPTOC is a database of tables of
contents inputted by the more than 50 institutional members of the ARL
Latin Americanist Research Resources Project (LARRP). Covering more than

social sciences, LAPTOC is now a core
index for Latin American Studies. LAPTOC currently contains citations for
over 220,000 articles from over 14,000 tables of contents.
