I am a student at Syracuse University studying Latin American Studies and
International Relations. I am about to begin my senior thesis dealing
with Mayan Ethnicity and Cultural Change. My focus thus far has been on
the indigenous population(s) in Guatemala. If any of you could suggest
any material to read, people to contact, anything- I would be extremely
grateful. I am trying to find out more about current leaders in the
indigenous communities and the Maya culture.
