The Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) will begin a
new program in Santiago, Chile in summer 1995. Social and Political
Transformations in Latin America, Women in Latin America: Gender,
Politics and Society and Culture, Identity and Modernization in Latin
America will be taught at the Facultad Latinoamerica de Ciencias
Sociales (FLACSO) and Spanish will be taught at the Universidad
Catolica. Students with a two to three years of college-level Spanish
or the equivalent are eligible. Housing is with families. The cost is
