Members of an interdisciplanary team at the University of Texas are
constructing WWW pages with respect to Nafta and the Border region. I
forsee linking the web page to an automated geographic information system
that would highlight environmental conditions (air, water). This idea
is still in the planning stages. I hope that it is a prototype which
can be applied to other regions of the United States and abroad. Does
anyone know if the US Geological Service or any other agency has linked
digital maps to the Web. Forward any intriguing connections to this
project as well.
