ADJUSTING IN NICARAGUA: The World Bank, IMF and Community Development
total running time 48 minutes (1994)

This documentary gives and indepth background and history of the World
Bank and International Monetary Fund, and describes the Bank and
Fund's Structural Adjustment programs, focusing specific attention to the
present economic situation in Nicaragua. The final portion on the
documentary brings the results of structural adjustment policies home to
us, show how communities in the North cannot escape the consequences of
short-sighted development policy in the South.

Produced in conjunction with the 50 YEARS IS ENOUGH CAMPAIGN, an
international effort to shed light on the operation of the World
Bank and the International Monetary Fund as these institutions
celebrate their 50th anniversary.
