Yes, we south of the border do. However, his actions are probably
motivated by the fact that the SOA may be on the budget chopping block
(i.e. self-preservation). Although it's existence may have been
defendable during the Cold War, it is now a dinosaur that will probably
be soon heading for its own La Brea (I know only mammals were found there
but the symbolism's the same).
