We here at the University of Connecticut are in the process of
creating a graduate level areas studies certificate for Latin America
and the Caribbean. We offer the Masters, but we want to allow people
within other disciplines/departments to be able to recognition if they
choose to focus their studies within Latin America and the Caribbean.
Since we our program to be competitive and comprable to others around the
country, we are asking that any programs that offer such a certificate to
