I suggest you contact the Latin American & Iberian Studies Department at
the University of Wisconsin - Madison and talk to Prof. Steve Stern.
He recently organized an International Symposium on the Shining Path. The
Symposium took place here in Madison from April 27 to April 30, 1995. Prof.
Stern brought in about 25 of the Top Experts on the topic. It was an
excellent conference. The Latin Americian & Iberian Studies Program in
Madison may be able to sell all or part of the recordings from the four
day symposium. At the time they were also selling copies of the
conference papers presented. They are all a bit different in focus, so
you may want to know what the topics were. I still have a copy of the
program with me and I would be willing to pass over some of this
information. I also have copies of 16 of the papers. Some of them
are as long as 50 pages. If it were necessary, I would be willing to
copy some of them and ship them over to you, providing you can pay me
for the copying and the shiping. The Latin American Studies Program
telephone number is (608) 262-2811. My number is (608) 274-9512.
Suerte,
