The purpose of LATHE (Latin American Theatre List) is to facilitate
distribution of materials for research and teaching in the
field of Latin American theatre, and to provide a forum for discussion of
all aspects of Latin American theatre. Participation in English,
Spanish, Portuguese and French are welcome. We anticipate English and
Spanish will predominate. Appropriate topics for this list include, but
are not limited to:
* All periods and styles of Latin American theatre
* Authors, plays, directors and technical aspects
* Theories of criticism
* Secondary sources relating to Latin American theatre including
productions, places and dates of interest, reviews and criticisms
* Research and reference works on Latin American theatre topics
* Latin American theatre resources on the Internet
* Notices of articles, meetings, and workshops relating to Latin American
theatre
The list is unmoderated. The owner reserves the right to moderate if the
need arises.
The list is operated at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. The list
manager is Dr. Carolyn Bell (bell@kutztown.edu), professor of Spanish
literature. The list is operated on Smartlist software. It is simple to
subscribe and unsubscribe, but it is a bit different from listserv,
listproc, or majordomo. Please keep a copy of the first message you receive
that confirms your subscription. It will describe how to sign on, how to
use a digest option, and how to sign off the list.
