I would suggest the following book to you: "Gift of the Devil" by Jim
Handy. It is an excellent history of Guatemala which, by default, deals
to great extent with white Guatemalans' dominance and abuse of non-whites.
While the book is above the high school level, you could disseminate it
to your class.
