The summary/outline of the work of the executive committee which
includes strategies for the Foro. The 37 presentations/papers of the
conference are available. Including a "Summary of the Fifth Forum"
by Larry Press and an introductory paper in English and Spanish by
Saul Hahn from Mexico and NSF. The papers also include an overview
of the internet by Steve Goldstein from NSF. The proceedings give
a good up-to-date status report on internet access and activities
throughout Latin America. Countries well represented at the
conference and with papers include Argentina, Peru, Uruguay, Brazil,
Ecuador, Bolivia, Venezuela, Cuba, and Spain.
It was from this list that I saw the one and only announcement for this
conference to which I responded and was accepted to attend and give
a presentation. So thank you LALA-L
