Van a continuacion los nombres de archivo de los RFC (Requests for
Comments), o explicaciones tecnicas de las codificaciones MIME ,
BASE64 y QUOTED PRINTABLE, asi como de la emision por internet de
juegos de caracteres (CHARSETS) que no sean ASCII de 7-bit. Aunque
de una lectura algo pesada debido a su contenido sumamente tecnico,
son en mayor grado comprensibles. Arrojan luz sobre el como y el
porque del sistema de correo electronico y el funcionamiento de MIME,
etc. En total, llegan a poco mas que un cuarto de MB (277,784 bytes), y
se encuentran en el sitio FTP de INTERNIC.
Sus nombres de archivo son: RFC 1341, RFC 1342, RFC 1425, RFC
1426, RFC 1427 y RFC 1428.
Los que dispongan de un cliente FTP, podran bajarlos conectando con
el URL: DS.INTERNIC.NET.
Tambien se puede conseguirlos por simple email, pero el modo de
hacerlo es mas complejo. Se encuentran instrucciones bastante claras
en una guia de internet popular y, aun mejor, gratis, la cual puede
pedirse tanto en version castellana como inglesa siguiendo los datos
incluidos mas abajo:
