The new CONSUMER PROTECTION LAW in Costa Rica, a model law for Latin
America, is working well.
AT&T lost the first round of my client's court case against them for
DUMPING OBSELETE technologies in the country. After almost 1 year of
legal manuvering by AT&T's representatives, the judge handed down a
stern ruling against the company. The judge also noted this kind of
dumping of obselete products will no longer be tolerated in Latin
America.
