microcredit, revolving loan funds

Hello. I am looking for someone with experience in setting up or running
microcredit or revolving loan programs. In particular, I am interested in
the actual data management of such organizations. I recently worked in
Mexico with a group that has for 20 years maintained their information
system using an accounting package that is now antiquated, and a database
system that also needs to be updated. The goal is to merge the two systems
and create space for additional information. This group will be preparing a
proposal that includes hiring a person to help make the transition to a new
information system. Any help you can provide is welcome. Thank you.
