Emerging Leaders in Latin America is a Radcliffe College summer institute
in leadership
training and development for recent graduates of Latin American
universities with two to
seven years of work experience, to be held at Radcliffe and conducted by
Radcliffe and
Harvard faculty. The institute provides opportunities for women motivated
to pursue
leadership positions.

Association,
National Association of Black Journalists, National Association of Hispanic
Journalists
and Native American Journalists Association.

UNITY grew out of the dream that people of color could work together to
advance
diversity issues within the media. Through hard work that dream is being
realized.
UNITY '94 was the largest gathering of journalists ever.

The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) invites you to
participate in the
70th annual LULAC National Convention & Exposition, to be held in Corpus
Christi,
Texas from July 11 through July 17, 1999.

Founded in 1929, the League of United Latin American Citizens is the
nation's oldest
and largest Hispanic organization in the United States. With a national
membership of
250,000, there are over 600 LULAC Councils in virtually every state of the
nation and in
Puerto Rico. LULAC enjoys a rich history of advocacy in civil rights,
education, economic development, immigration and equal opportunity.
The LULAC National Convention draws over 6,000 people each year including
the top
leaders from government, business, and the Hispanic community.
