FULL TEXT OF ARTICLE:
1. [Text] Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, president of the Councils of States
and Ministers, arrived today in the Brazilian State of Sao Paulo during his
fourth day in Brazil. [video shows Castro surrounded by a group of people]

2. Fidel's Sao Paulo visit responds to an invitation extended by that state's
governor, Orestes Quercia, who traveled to our country in 1988. Early this
morning, the commander in chief was welcomed by many people at the Latin
American Memorial. The Cuban and Nicaraguan delegations were invited to attend
the ceremony to present the Sao Paulo State Award to (Orlando Vilas Boes), an
outstanding figure who has fought for the rights of Brazilian and Latin
American indians.
