Fellowships, Grants, and Research Opportunities

FLAS Summer 1999 Foreign Language and Area Study Fellowship for Portuguese language study at UT-Austin or Kaqchikel language study through Tulane University. Gender in Global Perspective: A Graduate Training Program, a University at Albany, SUNY, project provides assistantships for M.A. degree students who will specialize in fields that offer opportunities for gender-focused specialties. Open to students who have been admitted to a University at Albany M.A. program for Fall 1999. Award includes tuition and a stipend of $8,000. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship, Latin American Studies Research Librarian, 1999-2000. The Center for International Library Programs at Duke University, supported by a grant from the Andrew W.
