EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Assistant Professor of History, University of Scanton, Scranton,
PA. Tenure-track position beginning Sept. 2000 requires Ph.D.
and teaching experience. Responsibilities include teaching courses
in Latin American history and participation in the development
of a new interdisciplinary program in Latin American studies.
Additional interests in Asian, African,
Middle Eastern, or gender history would be helpful. The successful
candidate should be able to support the Catholic and Jesuit tradition
and spirit through his/her work in history. Preliminary interviews
will be conducted at the OAH annual meeting in Spring 2000. Send
