FELLOWSHIPS, GRANTS, AND RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES
Research Experience for Undergraduates, Population Research Center and Dept. of Sociology, UT-Austin.
REU students spend 10 weeks on the UT campus engaged in academic coursework and applied research apprenticeships. Students earn 3 hours college credit and present a scholarly paper at a conference. Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation Announcements Woodrow Wilson Practicum Grants-$1,500 award to students who find a meaningful internship or other way to utilize their academic discipline in a context outside college teaching and research. Woodrow Wilson Innovation Awards-Up to three $10,000 grants and up to three $5,000 grants to recognize and support departments and programs in the humanities that encourage Ph.D. students to interact with the world outside the academy. Government of Peru, 2000 Summer Research Fellowship. Applicants are invited to submit proposals on priority research areas: Civil Society, Representation and Governance in Peru.
