Saturday, March 24-Accordion Dreams Film Screening at Historic La Villita Dancehall, San Benito, TX. For the first time in more than 20 years, La Villita will open its doors, for a benefit screening of Hector Galan's new film, Accordion Dreams, which explores the history and cultural importance of conjunto music. 7:30 p.m. A traditional conjunto dance, led by Benny Layton, will follow. General admission tickets $20. Sponsors' Reserved Tables are $500, including seats for eight and a private pre-screening reception with Galan.
