DHL/UNITAR Workshop on the structure, retrieval and use of United Nations documentation   Organized jointly with the Dag Hammarskjöld Library United Nations Headquarters, New York  Objectives  The workshop is designed to deepen and update the participants' knowledge of the interrelationship between the structure of the United Nations and its documentation, and to develop and enhance their skills in retrieval of information and effective use of the various reference instruments and modern facilities available at the United Nations. Organization The workshop is spread over a period of three days. After a general introduction to the documentation of the United Nations, the workshop will be divided into two groups, for English-speaking and French-speaking participants, respectively. Two full meetings will be devoted to instruction by the Library staff on the various resources for information retrieval. The workshop will conclude with a round-table discussion between the participants and the instructors.
