General briefing for new delegates on the work of the fifty-fourth session of the General Assembly  United Nations Headquarters, New York   Objectives The objectives of the briefing are to review the procedures and the agenda of the General Assembly and its Main Committees, and to provide the participants with practical information on the various services available to delegations. Organization The briefing is spread over two full days. Presentations will be made by experienced diplomats and members of the Secretariat.
