UNITAR New York Work Programme 1999

The 1999 Work Programme for the New York Office of UNITAR, presented in the table below, includes workshops, courses and briefings on a variety of topics. Most training events are recurrent. UNITAR can also specifically design additional training activities upon request.

UNITAR Training events are provided free of charge (after due registration) to all members of delegations to the United Nations in New York. Occasionally and upon availability of slots, delegates from capitals are also accommodated. UNITAR reserves the right to make a selection among candidates, if necessary.

Training events are announced three weeks in advance through invitations to all permanent missions, and through the Journal of the United Nations. Some training events confer certificates and therefore require a higher level of participation.

The Institute is committed to providing a pertinent and timely Work Programme each year, and values comments and suggestions for its improvement.

The Work Programme below includes links to course descriptions, and three full course schedules. You may also visit the Programme Archive for the curriculae of years past (starting 1998).
